Dr. Norma Reyes

Dr. Norma Reyes was born and raised in Stockton, California. As a first-generation Mexican American, she grew up speaking Spanish and understanding the value of hard work. Dr. Reyes went on to study Biology at the University of the Pacific. She earned her DDS at the prestigious, Universal of California at Los Angeles School of Dentistry, which has been ranked in the top 10 in the world!

Aside from serving her patients, Dr. Reyes has also been involved with numerous local dental associations in the San Antonio area; such as the San Antonio District Dental Society and the Greater San Antonio Hispanic Dental Association. In her time with GSAHDA, she chaired and led numerous community related events through her years of service. One her favorites was the San Fernando Health Fair. Tejas Pediatric Dentistry also regularly supports local PTAs and youth sport teams.

In January of 2019 Dr. Reyes acquired the practice and assumed the role of Chief Smile Officer. She renamed the practice, Tejas Pediatric Dentistry. A name with deep roots and a nod to Texas’ highly Latino community. Tejas Pediatric Dentistry is the culmination of Dr. Reyes’ upbringing, her training, and her passion to serve her community. In her tenure Dr. Reyes has revitalized the practice, by upgrading to cutting edge imaging technology and attending seminars to stay informed of the latest best practices for dental health professionals.
